There will be a return to in-person enrolment for 2022-2023 school year in anticipation of complete in-person programs by November, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced.
The registration season for public schools would run from July 25 to August 22 under DepEd Order No. 35, series of 2022, which was signed by Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte.
Thus, the DepEd will continue to use remote enrolment, which it has done for the past two school years due to health constraints.
Regardless of the warning level in the area in which the school is located, in-person enrollment is permitted. However, there must be observance of minimum health and safety norms.
