5. Classroom Observable Indicators (Demo Teaching -PPST Based-COT) – 35 points
6. Non Classroom Observable Indicators (TEACHER REFLECTION FORM – TRF) – 25 Points
Total – 100 points
Qualification Standards for T1
Education – Bachelor’s Degree plus 18 Prof. Education Units
Training – Non Required
Experience – Non Required
Eligibility – PBET/LET Passer
How to Rate ETE (Education-Training-Experience)?
Education
Level of Increment of Actual Education Obtained by the Applicant based on the TOR MINUS the Level of Increment of the Qualification Standard = Increment from the Minimum QS
2-3 Increments = 4 Points
4-5 Increments= 6 Points
6-7 Increments= 8 Points
8 or more Increments = 10 Points
Example A: Juan Teacher 1 Applicant is a BEED Graduate.
Increment Level of Juan (Bachelor’s Degree) = 6
Increment Level based on QS in Education for T1 (Bachelor’s Degree) = 6
6-6=0 therefore there was no increment from the minimum QS thus Juan will obtain a score of 0 (zero) in EDUCATION.
Example B: Pedro Teacher 1 Applicant is a BEED Graduate with 24 units in MA
Increment Level of Pedro (24 units MA) = 13
Increment Level based on QS (Bachelor’s Degree) = 6
13-6 = 7 increments
7 increments = 8 Points
Thus Pedro will obtain 8 points in Education.
